About Padanyaas World Dance Festival 2026
Padanyaas World Dance Festival 2026 is a globally curated international dance festival and global dance festival that brings together classical, folk, and traditional dance forms from different parts of the world on one shared international platform. This global celebration offers a space where heritage is honoured, traditions are respected, and dancers connect through the universal language of movement.
Curated by the team behind India’s International Groovefest (IIGF), this respected dance festival India initiative is not just a performance event. It is a meaningful cultural dance festival and cultural exchange festival created to support artistic learning, cultural preservation, and global exchange among dancers, academies, and cultural institutions.
The 1st season of Padanyaas World Dance Festival will be held in Colombo, Sri Lanka on 5th & 6th June 2026. The festival takes place in a culturally rich setting shaped by temple traditions, folk practices, and multicultural heritage. This beautiful environment transforms the festival into a true global cultural dance event and respected international performing arts event, allowing participants and audiences to experience dance not only as entertainment, but as living heritage.
