Rules & Regulations

By registering for and/or attending the Padanyaas World Dance Festival (PWDF), all artists, attendees, teachers, and accompanying persons agree to abide by the following rules and regulations laid down by Padanyaas Entertainment.

MUSIC & AUDIO GUIDELINES

All performances will be on pre-recorded audio tracks.
Live instrumental music is not permitted.
Audio tracks must be submitted in MP3 format at least one month prior to the festival.
The selected audio must align with the essence, theme, and cultural integrity of Padanyaas World Dance Festival.
Audio tracks used for Indian Classical, Semi-Classical, and Indian Folk performances must not contain obscene, vulgar, or inappropriate lyrics, sounds, or music.
Western English songs, Western music, rhythms, sound effects, or remixes are strictly prohibited for Indian Classical, Semi-Classical, and Indian Folk performances.
All audio tracks are subject to approval by Padanyaas Entertainment.
In case modifications are suggested, artists must promptly make the changes and resubmit the revised track within the stipulated timeline.
Time limits mentioned for audio tracks must be strictly followed.

COSTUME GUIDELINES

Costumes must be decent, appropriate, and non-revealing, in keeping with the dignity and cultural values of the festival.
Artists must submit a clear photograph of their costume to Team Padanyaas for approval.

PERFORMANCE DAY RULES

Artists must report and be ready at least 1 hour prior to their scheduled performance time.
All performers must register at the Registration Desk located at the venue entrance before stage performance.
Upon registration at the venue, artists will receive their performance slot and order number.
Artists must be fully ready with costume, hair, and makeup at the time of registration to receive their performance order number.
Performance order must be strictly followed.
No costume, makeup, hair, or accompanist support will be provided by Padanyaas Entertainment.
After registration, artists must check in with the Stage Manager and perform as per the scheduled order unless special permission is granted.
Each artist is allowed to perform only once.
Only original choreography and concepts are permitted.

DISCIPLINE & CODE OF CONDUCT

Spitting, chewing tobacco, smoking, consuming intoxicants, or littering is strictly prohibited within the event premises.
Patriotic songs, national flags, and national anthems of any country are strictly prohibited.
All attendees must maintain discipline, decency, and respectful conduct at all times.
Cleanliness must be maintained in and around the venue, stage, green rooms, and washrooms.
Any breach of cleanliness rules may result in a fine imposed by the relevant authorities.

STAGE RULES

Aerial acts or hanging props are not permitted.
Adequate stage lighting will be provided for all performances.
The allotted performance time includes prop setup and stage clearance after the performance.
Artists must adhere strictly to the allotted duration.

SAFETY REGULATIONS

The following items are strictly prohibited on stage and backstage:

Haldi (turmeric), powders, flower petals, Glass bangles, Liquid colours, hand aalta, Fire, candles, oil lamps, matchsticks, Knives, sharp objects, lights, or any high-risk items
Violation of safety rules may result in heavy fines.
If Mehendi (Henna) is required, it must be applied before reaching the destination country.

RESPONSIBILITY & PERMISSION

By entering or participating in PWDF, it is agreed that:

Padanyaas Entertainment, its staff, sponsors, venue partners, hotels, and associated authorities shall not be held responsible for:

Any accident, injury, or mishap during the festival.
Unforeseen flaws or conditions of the stage or venue.
Loss of valuables, documents, passports, or personal belongings.
Artists participate at their own risk and must assume full responsibility for any unforeseen injury.
Dance teachers or group leaders are responsible for educating participants and guardians about all rules and policies.
It is presumed that all travelling artists are medically fit; the company will not be liable for medical emergencies.
All attendees must strictly follow reporting times given by tour operators for travel, sightseeing, meals, and festival schedules.
Participation in PWDF grants Padnayaas Entertainment permission to use photographs and videos captured during the event for promotional and commercial purposes across all media platforms.
Smoking, drinking, or consumption of intoxicants is strictly prohibited throughout the entire tour and may lead to punitive action.
Any additional expenses due to political issues, natural calamities, traffic disruptions, or unforeseen circumstances must be borne by the attendees.
Registration process once completed, will not be reimbursed.

HOTEL RULES

Hotel check-in time: 2:00 PM | Check-out time: 10:00 AM
Washing or drying clothes inside or outside hotel rooms is strictly prohibited.
Any additional hotel expenses not included in the package must be paid by the traveler.
Room allotment will be on twin sharing basis.
Rooms must be kept clean and damage-free.
Charges will apply for torn linens, damaged property, or any loss as per hotel norms.
Padanyaas Entertainment is not responsible for forgotten luggage, awards, certificates, or personal items.

ADJUDICATION

The time, manner, and method of adjudication shall remain solely at the discretion of the Director of Padanyaas Entertainment.
No participant, teacher, or escort is permitted to question or challenge a judge.
The Director of Padanyaas Entertainment reserves the right to add, modify, or remove any rules or policies at any time.
Any legal disputes shall be subject to Thane Jurisdiction only.
