FREESTYLE EXPRESSION – Beyond Boundaries
The most unique category, freestyle expression, welcomes acts that defy traditional classification. The focus is on pushing boundaries while still maintaining things coherent artistically. Whether through jaw-dropping acrobatics, ethereal sand sculptures, or genre-defying performances, contestants must deliver a tangible concept while delivering an attention-grabbing and emotive spectacle.

Cross Genre Acts
This international unique talent contest is looking for artists who don’t fit into the usual boxes. It could include light painting, holographic narrative, food performance art, or anything else. What’s important is that they should be original, reflect your vision, and have technical proficiency. Act descriptions in advance of the competition must be submitted by contestants for review for safety concerns. Interdisciplinary performances (i.e., live sculpture + poetry) should display expertise in each part. The act must challenge audience expectations while still having a clear artistic intent.

Sand Art
Live sand artists are supposed to produce narrative sequences on lighted tables at the IITF’s sand art competition. Judging assesses the clarity of storytelling, fluidity of transitions, and technical accuracy. Performances may include music or voiceover, but must include continuous live creation. Special techniques (finger vs. tool work, multi-layer sand) exhibit a diversity of skills. Unique narratives are welcome. This is all about showing how something that won’t last forever, like sand art, can still tell a powerful story with the right touch. It’s all in the way they move the sand around, carefully building and then wiping away their images to tell their tale.
Gymnastics Acts
The performers should bring athleticism with creativity to the gymnastics contest 2025. Judging weighs technical skills (tumbling passes, balances) against choreographic quality. Equipment may include ribbons, hoops, or aerial silks. Scoring focuses on clean lines, controlled landings, and risk management. Dance components should blend invisibly with gymnastic elements. Costuming should provide freedom of movement without hazard. The whole acrobatic talent is about turning all that athletic awesomeness into a beautiful piece of art, with music, and using the space around them.

Puppet Show Artists
Puppeteers are invited to our puppet show competition with their skillful hands, rods, strings, or shadow puppets. The judges will look for manipulation skills, character development, and storytelling integration. From classical forms like Kathputli and Wayang to modern styles, all are welcome. It’s important to make your puppets walk, talk, and gesture smoothly, all while keeping their eyes on the right spot. Voice acting talent for several characters is essential. Puppet acts must be balanced between technical control of puppets and emotional storytelling, either comedic or dramatic. Groups must coordinate movements when working with multi-operator puppets. Stage setting, lighting effects, and puppet design add to the total scoring.
Jugglers
In IITF’s juggler contest 2025, jugglers are supposed to play skillfully with things like balls, rings, clubs, and some unexpected objects. Judgment will be made based on technical proficiency (number/type of objects), pattern complexity, and artistic presentation. They can choose to do the classic toss juggling, the fancy contact juggling, or come up with their own mix of the two. What we want to see is a mix of being good at juggling, which means not dropping things, keeping a steady beat, and showing off their own style and personality. Risk factors such as fire or knife juggling must adhere to strict safety guidelines. Special attention to performances involving dance, comedy, or cultural narrative through juggling.

Ventriloquists
We would love to onboard the talented artists at our global ventriloquist talent act, who demonstrate the skill of voice projection without apparent lip movement. Judging emphasizes vocal separation (pitch/tone distinction), puppet characterization, and comedic timing. Technical marks involve breath control, minimal jaw movement, and realistic “thrown voice” effects. Remember, you’ve got to handle that microphone properly, so everyone can hear both you and your puppet buddy loud and clear. The whole point is to make it look like you two are one amazing entertainment team, fooling everyone into believing that your little friend is talking!
Time Limit
To ensure a smooth and dynamic showcase of each talent’s performance, IITF maintains strict time durations for performances as follows:
Solo Performance | 3 minutes |
Group Performance | 4.5 minutes |
Group Acting | 7 minutes |
